Cornell Venture and Entrepreneurship Club (CVEC) is a student-led organization connecting investors and entrepreneurs from VC/PE firms to students and our broader community across China and the United States.
Our mission is to build an inclusive platform providing opportunities to anyone with a passion for the best venture and entrepreneurship education and experience.
Our Insight Series speaker events provide students and anyone hoping to gain more insights into the venture and entrepreneurship field direct opportunities to hear from educators with all kinds of backgrounds and experiences and to have their questions and confusions answered on the spot.
CVEC hosts seasonal Pitch Day Series with various themes, and invites startup teams from any background to apply to present. Startups get to face and gain direct feedback with potential collaboration opportunities from representatives from top VCs including Sequoia, ZhenFund, and Y-combinator, etc.
The Startup Development department helps Cornell startups better build their businesses and work with venture capital investors. Each team is led by project managers covering market research, company analysis, and strategy development. Student analysts are trained to conduct research, to provide startup clients with tailored solutions, and to make investment decisions.
